After discovering a sudden end to his current employment as a local child's psychologist, Peter Kotski finds himself making one of life's most common of difficult choices: whether uprooting your life for employment is worth the strain of your relationships. After moving home, Peter discovers that the illness of his widowed mother, and the incompetence of his two eccentric brothers, might require a more permanent stay. Through shrewd investigation, and incessant antics, Peter learns that not every choice is his to make, and how to trust in the good nature of his friends and family.
